Rotunda mainly serves tradition western dishes and has always been well-received by locals. Guest can go around for one hour and forty five minutes of ‘merry-go-round’ while enjoying a panorama of Macau. This is a very leisuring experience. Centre at the dining hall stands a Grand Piano where guests can go up and perform an impromptu. A lot of memorable moment are created under this romantic atmosphere.

Avocado with Crabmeat au Gratin

The appetiser “Avocado with Crabmeat au Gratin” kicks off the meal. Strings of crabmeat with baked cheese along with avocado’s soft and chewiness makes the dish very surprisingly pleasant. Other than that you can also spread this appetiser on the bread!

Cream of Pumpkin with Scallop

This soup is very creamy and does not have any grass taste, yet it brings out the sweetness of the pumpkin. It is not too greasy to be drink with scallop. I recommend you to eat your bread with the soup for another kind of experience.

Chateaubriand Beef

If you want to eat a tender steak, this high cost and performance ratio Chateaubriand Beef is highly recommended. The chef recommended to order it medium or medium well in order to enjoy the beef at its best state. Order alongside with the steamed vegetables, this order can feed three to four people.

New York Sirloin Beef

Compare to the beef I introduced just now, this Sirloin caters to the crowd who prefers chewy steaks. Rotunda insist on choosing chilled over frozen beef in order to keep the flavour of the meat. The outside of the steak is pan-fried until its crunchy. Each bite is filled with meat sauce and the fat from the beef spread through my mouth. Steak-lover must order this dish.

Spain Black Pork Chop

For those who don’t eat beef, here’s an alternate option — Spain Black Pork Chop. Seeing the pink meat in between already tells me that this pork chop is different from the others. Each bite is filled with meat flavour and the texture is as good as the steak’s. This is the restaurant’s must order.

Australia Lamb Chop

Rotunda has a view that cover every corner of Macau and it also has a menu that covers everyone’s need. After introducing pork chop, beef steak, of course, I will be introducing the lamb chop. The crunchy exterior made by bread crumbs already made the dish extra impressive. This perfectly cooked lamb chop makes every bite filled with satisfaction.

It’s a Scoop of Rocky Road Ice Cream Enclosed in a Meringue Beehive / Moelleux Chocolate Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream

The chef recommended us two very classic desserts. For the chocoholics, you can order the Moelleux Chocolate Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream. The warm runny chocolate and icy ice cream is a perfect match. Another beloved dish is the It’s a Scoop of Rocky Road Ice Cream Enclosed in a Meringue Beehive. Underneath the meringue beehive hides a scoop of ice cream. Before we dive in, the waitress lit the dessert up and the sweet smell spread all over the place. Remember to get your camera ready for this moment.
