Cafe Bela Vista is located on the second floor at the Grand Lapa Hotel. The restaurant has a strong Portuguese style design with tall ceilings, pillars, fans, chandeliers, a balco-ny and tile floors. Every single detail in the restaurant is a photo moment. Besides other western dishes on the menu, Bela Vista is famous for its signature Portuguese dishes. Chopped octopus tentacles with some sweet pepper salsa and greens, the salad offers layers of flavors and textures. It’s an amazing and refreshing appetizer.

This dish is a surprise for your taste buds. The skin is roasted crispy and golden. The chicken is marinated with a piri piri pepper sauce. The spiciness is similar to a hot chili pepper. It’s a very interesting dish with a nice spicy kick.
Grilled Bacalhau
Bacalhau is an iconic ingredients in Portuguese cuisine. It’s basically salted cod fish so it needs to be prepared nicely before using it to cook. If it’s not done correctly, the fish is overly salty. This dish here is perfect, the first bite tastes like garlic and olive oil, then the unique fish taste came along gently. The meat is tender and plump, definitely worth try-ing.
