- Memo Foodie
Kafka Sweets & Gourmandises has always been an honorable cafe in my heart. This French dessert shop is located in Tampa and also provides quality coffee and pasta. You might have a little hard time finding the shop the first time since it’s very minimalistic, the sign is also very low key but the shop is spacious and full of day lights. You can chill there for an entire afternoon if there are not too many customers. The name Kafka is inspired by the famous Austrian writer. Kafka was born in Prague and there is also a street named Prague in Taipa. Therefore, the owner decided to use the name Kafka for the shop on the street.

Pasta with Sun-dried Tomatos, Garlic, Olive Oil and Chili
Even though this is a dessert shop, but this bright red pasta is very popular here. The noodles are cooked “al dente”. The combination of dried tomato and chili is very appetizing. You would like it even if you don’t like spicy!
Caramel Sky is a new item at the shop. When you cut open this golden crispy toast, you will see some sweet and warm caramel sauce running out. Can you smell the caramel even just looking at it through the screen? Now take a bite with the sky ice cream. The feeling of warm and cold all inside your mouth. Must try!
