An Old-School Chinese Restaurant that can Bring You Back to 1962!?
“Yum Cha” is originated in the Canton province. Nowadays, you can find it in many places around the world. It’s also one of the most iconic cuisines of Canton. “Yam Cha” can be categorized as “morning tea”, “afternoon tea”, or “night tea”. Long Wa Teahouse serves “morning tea”, so it only opens till 2pm in the afternoon
Traditional Cantonese teahouse are not easy to find today. Long Wa Teahouse has been in business since 1960. We are very lucky to have such a great place to enjoy traditional tea and dim sum in Macau. Walking into Long Wa makes me feel like I am traveling back in time to an unfamiliar era that is full of stories
RECOMMENDATION
“Ginger and Green Onion Chicken Rice” – The chicken is tender and juicy. The Ginger and Green onion sauce gives it a distinct scent and flavor. Very addictive.
“Steamed Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce” – A very simple and well known dish. It’s a perfect match for a bowl of white rice.
“Barbeque Pork Bun” – The bun is soft and fluffy, and the Cantonese style barbeque pork is sweet and savory. It’s a must have if you want a traditional “Yum Cha” experience
