“A New Modern Style Café that’s actually Transformed from an Old-Fashion Cha Chaan Teng?”

Macau has more to offer than just casinos and hotels. Amazing cuisine is one of those “Must Try” when you come to Macau. There are street food, Michelin starred restaurants and old style coffee shops. Usually, the most anticipated are all the Cha Chann Tengs. You can enjoy some Macau style snacks and also the tea time culture of Macau. This Café is called “Lei Shing”, you might not have heard or the name, but it’s been in business for a decade. Now, they have a new location that also serves western style food

This café has a pretty spacious area. With it’s new western options, it has attracted more young generation to visit. I wish this Cha Chann Teng culture can continue to last forever.

RECOMMENDATION

Truffle Scrambled Egg on Toast (MOP 30) – It looks like a regular scrambled egg but it’s actually the soul of the entire toast. The egg is smooth and soft, let’s dig in before it gets cold

Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup (MOP 30) – The coconut soup is thick and tasty, full of coconut scent. The restaurant uses a lot of different spices, such as dried onions and curry. The tastes linger inside your mouth. Yummy

Smores Toast (MOP 25) – The marshmallows look too seductive after toasting. It’s basically a toast version smores with soft marshmallows on top and a crispy toast on the bottom. Amazing combination but it is a rather sweet dessert
